numerous and multiplied including skiing and brainwashing in different situations
Classics and somewhat country-oriented, preferrably American
"Once upon a time in America", "12" by Nikita Mikhalkov, "Titanic" and many others. Am fond of watcing movies at home by DVD while enjoying scenarios of my favourites
Russian classics in any genres and forms as well as memoires and notes by intellectuals which create the spirit of the epoch back to different times. Solomon Volkov's "History of Russian culture" is one of these investigations shedding light on historical contradictions of Russian/Soviet society. Also, the memoirs by Arkady Vaksberg, a famous publicist of the Literary Gazette, titled "My life in life" are one of the best relating to the Soviet epoch I have ever read. Therefore I keep rereading them time by time. the diaries by David Remnick "Lenin's Tomb" is a great illustration of journalistic professionalism.
No such ones. Russian TV shows seem to be switched to narrow-minded individuals who are worth regretting. Would not like to be posh but television in contemporary Russia is a striking and clarified experience on promoting bla-blas on different matters
