Audrey Gallagher - Vocal Trance \ Pop Singer
Описание: Audrey Gallagher - Электронная / Акустическая / Даунтемпо (Ирландия)
Audrey Gallagher is a singer from Derry in Northern Ireland. She is best known for providing the vocals on John O'Callaghan's song "Big Sky".
Gallagher was also the lead singer in the Derry band Scheer. In 1995–96, Scheer released three EPs for the 4AD label, followed by an album.
Scheer
Scheer consisted of Audrey on vocals, Neal Calderwood (Audrey's brother) and Paddy Leydon on guitar, Peter Fleming on bass and Joe Bates on drums.
The band was formed in 1993. They released their first EP, Psychobabble, followed by their acclaimed Schism EP in 1995. Their third release, Infliction, was the band's first full release. There were two singles released from Infliction - "Wish You Were Dead" and "First Contact", along with another EP called Demon. The band had a cult following and were touring alongside Ash, Lush and Mojave 3.
After Scheer
Following the decision for the band to break up, Gallagher linked up with dance music producers Agnelli & Nelson. Audrey provided the vocals for Holding On To Nothing which received a lot of attention from big club DJs. This led to Audrey linking up with Irish DJ John O'Callaghan. Again, Audrey provided the vocals for Big Sky. The remix of his vocal trance production "Big Sky" by Agnelli & Nelson was voted “Tune of The Year” by listeners of Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance radio show in 2007.
Currently
Gallagher is still quite involved with music producers with various projects. [1]
