Easy Kart was born from the idea of two great names in karting, chassis manufacturer BIREL and engine manufacturer IAME.
Both respective Presidents Mr. Oscar Sala of Birel and Mr. Bruno Grana of IAME realized that the economics for someone to start kart racing were vital in smaller countries and in other worldwide markets during times of economic instability.
he result is a chassis from Birel which, whilst of high standard is designed with economics in mind for spare parts. Certain adjustments are allowed but the concept is to enhance the driver’s capability. The engine is a TAG (touch and go) Parilla 125cc engine with dry clutch and is air cooled with no tuning allowed. This way the engine is simple to install and maintain with engine servicing spaced at 20hrs +. The concept is simple – for new drivers to have a quality machine with low maintanance and equal performance run in controlled races with emphasis on fair play and safety at very affordable price. Easy Kart has been a great success in Italy with over 300 units sold plus another 500 sold in the USA which is backed exclusively by F1 driver Montoya.
