- О себе:Gurgen Levon Dabaghyan Born in 1988, March 10 in Yerevan. His music family had national traditions. His ancestors migrated in 1828 from Old Bayazet. They migrated to East Armenia. They also had good voices. His father – Levon Dabaghyan – is a singer. His uncle( brother of his father) – Gevorg Dabaghyan is a popular musician, who plays the duduk – is a laureate of international contests, professor of Yerevan State conservatory after Komitas. Naturally, Gurgen Dabaghyan was descendant of his forefathers. He began to sing, when he was 6. When he first saw the film “Sayat-Nova”, he liked Sayat-Nova’s song very much. Gurgen was greatly impressed with moment, when Sayat-Nova with his popular song “Tamam ashkhar” won ashugh Fatulla. It wasn’t accidental, that Gurgen’s entrance in big art of singing began with Sayat-Nova’s songs. His first recording was in period when he was 7 years old, and in 8 he turned out his first lazer CD and DVD in USA “8-aged fair-child to his native country” . In 1996 Gurgen Dabaghhyan was honoured with gold medal after Goar Gasparyan, and in 1996 in contest “My independent Armenia is 5” Gurgen Dabagyan won and capture first place. In 1999 fulfilled his wish - he visited Tbilisi and put red rose on Sayat-Nova’s gravestone. In 2000 – solo concerts in USA. He’ll never forget that glorious concert. During the second solo concert he got princely Gold crown and since that day our people called him “Small prince of Armenian song.” The magazine “New-York Times” wrote about it. He issued 3 CD 1. Devoted to Sayat-Nova’s 285-aniversary 2. “Small prince of Armenian song” 3.”You have sweet voice” And 3 DVD 1.”When I was 10” 2. “Small prince of Armenian song” 3.”Moscow winks” He was Solo concerts in USA, Germany, England, Russia, Egypt, Ukraine, Iran and everywhere, where he met hearty reception. At the end of 2003 from pan-Armenian fund “Armenia”, organized in contest “Road to the future” Gurgen Dabaghyan was acknowledged the best singer and spreader of people’s and gusan songs of the year. Many famous artists, such as Eduard Mirzoyan, Gohar Gasparyan, Tigran Levonyan, Ofelya Hambardzumyan, Ruben Matevosyan, Martin Vardazaryan, Irina Otieva and other expressed heartily about Gurgen Dabaghyan. And Gurgen’s people’s love - is overcrowded concert halls everywhere. After small interval in 2007, 8th of November he has solo concert in Aram Khachatryan’s big concert –hall, passed perfectly. 2008 May – solo concert in Saint-Petersburg 2008 September – 2 solo concerts in Los- Angeles 2008 October - 6 solo concerts in Ukraine and Russia 2009 June - 2 solo concerts in Russia 2009 November - 3 solo concerts in Russia Besides musical activity he likes to read, travel, study world culture, be in nature, especially in mountains. In 2009, 30th of August Gurgen climbed Ararat mountain with an Armenian song and swayed Armenian flag from 5156m height. Now he studies in Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas and continues his concert activity.
