🌸Well, My favourite activity is reading. I read anything and everything from Shakespeare to Chinua Achebe to Maeve Binchy to Medical journals and even torn newspaper pages used to wrap finger foods by roadside hawkers. There is no restriction to where I read too. Usually, you will find a book in my hands at the dinner table (bad table manner, I know, I know), in the restroom and even while strolling around the neighborhood🌸
🌸There are plethora of small and long lasting personal interests or passions in everyone’s life. Few are temporary while other last maybe lifetime. Below are some of my interests and things which I follow more than anything else :🌸 🌸Communication Enthusiast🌸 This is one of my biggest fantasy to be able to talk as smoothly as i can with people throughout the world and by which i have achieved many milestones of my life, though I am always learning and working on my skills. You can always win a women’s heart by just having some good conversational skills. 🌸Travel🌸 Its true that you cannot buy happiness, but you can always buy tickets to an awesome vacation, and that’s pretty much close. For me personally, this is one of the interests I am living for, I mean whats the point on the earth that you are living for if you have not seen the beautiful valleys of Himalayas and the Canyons, the soothing beaches of Goa, Bali and Rio, the magnificent Burj Khalifa, Niagara Falls and the amazing historic places and museums in Europe. 🌸Good Food🌸 “First we eat, then we do everything else.” This is always accompanied with travel and leisure, work and play, party and get together’s. I am a big time foodie and it is the only thing sometimes that can cheer you up. 🌸Movies/Sitcoms🌸 It is an era of great fictional and meaningful cinema these days. I always enjoy watching some action/adventure, thrillers and funny shows/movies. The beauty and mystery of this world only emerges through affection, attention, interests and compassion
🌸 I really enjoy listening to classical music, which was what I was brought up learning and I appreciate it. Classical music is a really broad genre, actually, and it isn’t one meant for aristocrats to listen to, and nor are classical musicians “old, bald, and greasy” lmao. I mostly enjoy listening to music from the Romanticism era, and some pretty famous pieces that have caught my fancy include Saint-Saëns’ Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso, Hilary Hahn’s renditions of Bach’s Partitas (I have so much respect for this woman like I can’t even), and Kreisler’s Preludium and Allegro.🌸 🌸Also, I’m not really against any music genres, and contrary to what most people would do, I listen for the sound of the music rather than the lyrics, which is part of the reason as to why I’m not as interested in genres such as rap or hip hop, because the lyrics fall deaf on my ears basically lol.🌸 🌸I also really enjoy listening to musicals. Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen were two of the first musicals I’ve listened to, and I’ve listened to some others as well, including Phantom of the Opera, part of Legally Blonde, Jekyll and Hyde, and Les Miserables. (Oh yeah, and for musicals, I pay more attention to lyrics since that’s what they’re a much more important factor here.)🌸 🌸So besides classical music and musicals, I just listen to snippets of things from contemporary genres. (I used to have a huge obsession with Billie Eilish, actually, and that’s gone down but her music is still pretty cool, in my opinion.)🌸 🌸Really, I just listen to whatever I listen with my friends, and I’m always open to more music recommendations🌸
