О себе:Neringa Kirisute studied painting at the Vilnius Academy of arts. Since 2016, she has held several solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad. Her work is a visual diary of observations that echoes internal States or phases of life. Although she is interested in poetic juxtapositions of certain objects, her paintings often border on abstraction. It is concerned with the paradoxes of light and darkness, of peace and restlessness in equal measure of something visible and at the same time invisible. Also relationships between man-made objects or interventions in natural situations with a subtle sense of ironic humor.
Her works have a mythical quality that is both ancient and modern. They seem to convey a modern sense of anxiety, melancholy, and indifference.
