1. Lauryn Hill "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill". (It’s one of the greatest albums of all time! Lauryn's voice is incredible and there is so much raw emotion in the lyrics and the album is woke af!); 2. JAY Z "444". (The whole thing is like a lesson. Every time you listen to it, you get some new game); 3. Rascal Flatts "Me and My Gang". (This one of my favorite country albums! For anybody who doesn’t like country, I’m pretty sure this will change your mind. There is all this build up in their songs and then when you get to the chorus there’s like a punchline. And Gary LeVox can sing his f*&king ass off); 4. Brandy "Never Say Never". (This has “The Boy Is Mine” on it! Her vocals are so on point on this album); 5. Nas "illmatic". (From start to finish, it’s a classic. Nas is one of the best lyricists ever). 6. Michael Jackson (every album!) (Y'all already know how much I love Michael Jackson. I've been listening to him since I was a kid, so I'm just going to add every MJ album ever made to this list!).
1. If Beale Street Could Talk (2018); 2. A Wrinkle in Time (2018); 3. Get Out (2017); 4. Superbad (2007); 5. Interstellar (2014).
1. So, I've been reading this amazing book called “Everything you Need to Know About the Music Business" by Donald Passman. When it comes to the record industry, there are things that everyone should know before they sign a contract. It can be a shady business and it's good to arm yourself with as much knowledge of the game as you can. This book legit goes over everything, from navigating record and merch deals to hiring a team of advisers and what you should pay them. Everyone who wants to be in the music industry should read this! 2. All Harry Potter books; 3. So B. It (By Sarah Weeks in 2004).
1. This Is Us; 2. The Handmaid's Tale; 3. Shameless; 4. Grey's Anatomy; 5. A Different World; 6. Grace and Frankie; 7. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
